The key responsibility of the Sales Assistance Team Leader is to ensure our Sales Assistance and Business Development Service is delivered to clients in a timely fashion, to budget and with quality results.
π We are looking for applicants with experience in SME's, ideally with exposure to both Operations and commercial Sales, that are growth minded and looking for an opportunity to move into Leadership + Management.
This role involves managing a team of Sales Assistants β answering their day-to-day questions, removing roadblocks and ensuring they are performing to a high standard. Resources and personnel must be allocated appropriately to deliver the best service for our clients. Projects must be administered correctly including set-up of systems internally, liaising with clients, assisting with sales strategy, measuring results, quality checking calls and developing both internal and external reports.

Responsibilities:
- β Liaise with Strategy & Sales Personnel regarding each new client, to become familiar with clientsβ company information, scripting and desired results
- β Set-up internal systems, allocate personnel and resources, update forms/paperwork as required
- β Carry out training with BDRs and Assistants for each new client
- β Conduct ongoing development and learning with team, including quality checking calls being made
- β Manage and monitor team members weekly, ensuring delivery on calls and agreed KPIs each week
- β Oversee and administrate internal reports to ensure profitability of each client and overall team performance
- β Create external reports to show ROI on each clientsβ project/subscription weekly
- β Engage with the team and passionately embrace the Zembr culture through monthly team meetings and internal communication platforms
Skills Required:
- Previous experience in Tele-Services and Sales roles, particularly in an outbound role
- Excellent at verbal communication and building remote rapport
- Have basic experience in sales strategies, scripting and have basic marketing strategy knowledge
- Tenacity and a drive to succeed, hungry for growth
- No fear of the phone and can handle rejection

- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling (e.g. Outlook Calendar)
- Emotional Intelligence and prospecting experience
- Cold calling experience
- Discretion and confidentiality Ability to lead a team and hold them accountable to deliver on their commitments
- Effective time management, especially in managing your own time to achieve outcomes
- Proactive & efficient, with good personal organisation skills
- Proficient IT skills, able to be adapted to utilising our phone calling system, time tracking system, etc
- Able to take initiative in problem solving difficult situations, and improving systems and processes for the overall good of the company.

- After hours meeting are required on a regular basis due to the global nature of the team (approx. 1-2 times per week)
